Had an amazing time with founder Mark Holland back in fall of 2005. This phone booth used to be red in Little Amsterdam. I said: hé thats incorrect it should be green. So we went to Home Depot and got us the right green color of the former Dutch Public Phone Company. We had fun by playing the guitar in the place where time stands still and the music never stops. Go!

Quaint little cottage style home with a crow's nest dining area and lots of great features for your tropical garden home. Across the street from Plymouth Playground.. Ola and Plymouth street Tampa Florida.

This place is not the Ritz, but it has so much character it's fabulous. The beds are meh, but the pillow was super comfy. The people who run it are the reason to stay. They were super accommodating and worked with me when my flight was delayed. I will definitely stay here again!

Gram's Place feels more like a B&B than a hostel. The Jazz Room, where I stayed, had its own full bath, air conditioner with remote and a decent flat screen television. I know there are also gender based 'dorms' which I did not see. There are multiple kitchens available for use (as long as you clean up after yourself) so its unlikely that you will find yourself unable to prepare a meal. I've already reserved the Jazz Room for the next time I am in Tampa.

I had the pleasure of staying at Grams place for a night this past week. Just walking up it feels like a very friendly place. The decor walking in and spread throughout made it feel like home. After finding my dorm I explored the property including the Crow's nest lookout that is on top of the hostel. Every person that I spoke with was very nice and my over all stay has lead me to recommend it to others!
