The rating is for the stained glass windows, which are magnificent. I did not attend a mass. Jesuits practically invented the idea of evangelizing through beauty, and it shows here.

I visited this Cathederal for Palm Sunday Mass while in Tampa on business. The Cathederal is absolutely beautiful inside. The service was very nice as well. I definitely plan to go back when staying long enough in Tampa. You should definetly visit.

The building is beautiful and has a very rich history. The priests and the parishioners are also all extremely friendly. They have everyone introduce themselves to the people around you before mass starts. It really feels like a community and my girlfriend and I are happy to call this our home parish.

Incredibly beautiful historic church! The sermon was entertaining and thought provoking. People actually we're welcoming to me, a stranger. Better yet, people coming from church acted like Christians and actually greeted and helped two homeless vets out side; selling palm branch crosses.
