Very disappointed, my son and I visited today we both had the Sunday carvery. The beef was such a small slice and extremely rubbery I could not chew it at all had no choice but to spit it out in tissue at the table! The stuffing wasn't cooked it was like mush, Yorkshire pudding sitting under light were rock hard, the veg was warm not hot surely a health and safety concern? And then to top it off my son found a long hair in his gravy. So disappointed we left our food and left the building we will not be returning. I don't usually complain but felt I had to say something.

The Same old 'not interested in your custom when its busy' restaurant. If you can manage to wait 1hr for a table, you'll only have to wait another hour for your food. Excellent if you wanna spend most of your day there.

Fantastic value for money with the two meals for less than a fiver offer.
Very helpful and pleasant staff, but if you want to eat around the peak meal times, get there early, as it's a very popular place and fills up quickly.

Not impressed. We arrived at 19.13 and was immediately sat down at a table by a delightful member of staff and was told how to order, choices from the Manu or all you can eat fish and chips , being a Friday and love fish and chips we decided fish and chips it was, we processed to pay and get our tickets for the meals then went to get some food, what we was looking at is hard to describe, it was a mess and not a lot left, cold chips that have been standing for some time, fish and I used that word loosely all batter and very little fish, at this time it was 19.25. I asked is there anymore on the way only to be told. NO. We stop replenishing. At 19.00. It wasn't all you can eat but eat what's left and that wasn't worth eating. I can only say it was disgusting. Never again.

When entering we were shown to a table very quickly. The menu has a wide range of options. After ordering at the bar we waiting for the starters. They came out not long after we ordered. The waitress delivered 2 prawn cocktails. We had ordered 3 so we asked if another was coming. Instead of a polite confirmation we were answered with a negative "I can only carry 2 things at once!" and a glare. She then brought 3-4 items out at a time, demanding "you better take the plate before I drop it".
When the mains were brought out it was the same. "Take the plate from me", "You'd better take the plate".
The steak we ordered (medium), came out rare. We asked for it to be cooked longer. They took the whole plate (rather than just the steak), and when it was returned the steak was well-done and rubbery. The steak wasn't darker on the outside, so we assumed this wasn't cooked on the grill.
The manager offered no sorry, or compensation for this, and was also very rude. We left without ordering anything else, and will not be returning.
