Hotel Schweizerhof Zürich

Nice hotel in good location. Rooms are very clean but quite small. Nice staff and nightly butler that comes around and offers complimentary sweet chocolates. The beds are quite comfortable and the WiFi is very speedy. If I were in Zurich again I'd try to find a hotel with a larger room, but this one was quite good.

World class hotel in every way. We received champagne during registration! Turn-down service at night left a fruit basket and chocolates! We also received vouchers for a SPA nearby (worth 50CHF) and 20CHF voucher towards lunch or dinner. Breakfast is sumptuous; we love this place, especially since it is on our Expedia VIP+ hotel list. Beware, the hotel restaurant (La Soupiere) is closed Sunday evenings.

Exceeds expectation. Great location new train station. Rooms are gorgeous, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Staff is helpful and courteous.

A hotel with a high standard of facilities in an ideal location; but what sets it apart is the quality of the hospitality which few, if any, hotels in the city come close to matching.

This is an excellent hotel with an even better location - right across from the train station.

The room was fantastic - a junior suite with two bathrooms and a room divider. Even when the street was noisy shutting the windows resulted in a silky silence. The beds were adjustable - head and foot could be raised for reading or resting tired feet.

The standard complementary breakfast included eggs and rosti to order in addition to the breads, cheeses, yogurts, granolas, and other standard German breakfasts. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the best of our trip. The Champagne was quite nice, as was the coffee. And the hot chocolate was as good as it gets with steamed milk and Swiss cocoa. It was the best breakfast of the trip.

Umbrellas for use when raining, responsive service, and a dedication to quality throughout made this our favorite hotel of the trip.

The only caveat is to keep in mind that Zürich is expensive and the Schweizerhof was not cheap for Zürich. But if you're looking for a hotel that exceeds expectations and makes it as easy to travel as traveling can be, you can't do much better.
