It is rather a small museum but nevertheless extraordinary in terms of artefacts and elements of ancient history. Worth a quick visit if you are heading to Gamla Stan. It is totally free of charge!

A huge amount of artifacts particularly the potteries and small items. It's FREE so well worth to check out the histories from the ancient time. Only thing is that it feels lacking a cohesive storyline where one can be more engaged in the rich history.

This is the best and most interested museum we have visited in Stockholm. The Egypt and Cyprus exhibitions are really excellent. And it is free of charge. Don't miss the Bagdad Cafe. Excellent food for a reasonable price.
