This is a very traditional Bavarian restaurant, in the best possible way. The food is the best I have found in terms of genuine local cuisine. The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable. If you are looking for a real Bavarian food and beer experience, this is the place to go. Forget the touristy places down town. This is where the actual German people come. Very easy to get to as well. Just get off the subway at Moosach St. Martin's Platz.

If u want to drink with typical bavarians this is the place to do it.. food is excellent and traditional. Atmosphere is friendly and relaxed

The place is..."antique" and pretty much battered up. None the less, the food is great, and there is nothing like it anywhere in Munich.
Real "home made cooking" from the Bavarian Cousine.
Don't expect to see foreigners there and don't feel intimidated by the looks from the locals. They don't bite! :-)
I did some research and the place used to be pretty cool in the past...even with the own bowling alley.
It would be great if they came up with a plan to spike this back up again.
