This hotel is located just outside the 'altstadt', but a 3 minute walk brings you to Zwinger.
Normally In don't stay in this big hotels, but a last minute booking was very tempting. Big, comfortable rooms with nice views over Dresden. (Take a room on the top floors, elevators work perfect).
Grand buffet for breakfast. And most important, friendly staff everywhere.

Great hotel. The location may be not the best, but it's still quite close to the city centre. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, very nice bathroom. The breakfast was a bit pricy, but OK.
It's very convenient that you can buy Dresden Museum Card right at the reception desk.
The staff is impeccably polite and always ready to help.
